10th Print @ Teefury

Teefury has been good to me over the years and this is my 1oth print there. This design is pretty obvious as it is entitled 'Extreme Coffee'. Working with Teefury as an employee, designer and customer has been awesome and I look forword to more of it over the coming years.

Dead Head @ Tilteed

I won for the 3rd time at Tilteed and I couldn't be happier. These guys really know how to print a tee and I am super confident that they will do a great job with this design.

El Camino Pirates @ Ha Ha Press

I worked on this tee quite a few months ago now for Hahapress.com and I love how it came out. Some good art direction and a last minute change of colours made this one work out very well.

Whaley @ Not Naked For A Reason

This tee is one of my favs, I think it would make a great children's tee. I worked with Not Naked for a reason to get this tee ready for their launch. I was hoping the water would go off the bottom of the T-shirt but it looks great regardless.

wotto @ TeeInvaders

TeeInvaders has undergone a face lift and a relaunch and I like how it looks. I am featured there today (2.12.09) for just 24 hours. This design was inspired by my visit to East L.A which was very educational.

Broken Dreams @ RandR Tees

This design was created after a visit to Hollywood when it occurred to me that not all the people that set out to be stars actually become stars. I wondered what became of those people and how they maybe become lost souls or ladies of the night. Anyway You can pick it up here.

6th Print @ Teextile - Summer Doodle

Teextile finally picked this up after it being on their site for months. It's an old design with a nice bright theme to it. It is available for one week starting today at Teextile.

Surrealism @ Enso Threads

A classic wotto doodle on silver AA tee. Working with Enso Threads was great, they sent me a sample of the tee to see what I thought before the launch. They also had solid communication and that's a kind of professionalism I love. I wish them all the very best. Check em out!

wotto @ ww.Stupidhurts.me

http://www.stupidhurts.me/ is a new tee company selling T-shirts for one day, only one color designs. They got in touch and asked if I'd be their launch tee. I said yes and this is the result. I like the colours they choose.

Rattle & Hum @ Mama Feels Good

This is my second print with www.mamafeelsgood.com and this one came out real nice. I always love working with companies who take good care over their products. Gonna be some real cool mamas out there!

9th @ Teefury

This design was originally a sub to DBH but Jimiyo picked it up for Teefury.com and it seems to be going down well there. It's a departure from my usual style and is a follow up to my design at Design By Humans. For sale for one day - 14.10.09

Illus Apparel Launches with 2 wotto tees!

I did these two designs for Illus Apparel a while back and I just love how they came out. One is a Illus doodle tee with lots of characters and bright colours. The other is a wottoesque Totem pole design in grayscale. Excellent photography for the product shots really shows the designs off well.

Print No.2 @ Tilteed - Hansel & Gretal

Tilteed do an amazing job of printing tees and I couldn't be happier that they picked this one up. I love the story of Hansel and Gretel so much that I did my own take on it. The kids burn that evil old witches house to the ground, after eating a large proportion of it, obviously! you can get here: Tilteed

5th @ Teextile - Halloween Week!

Hallllloween time! I love Halloween and I am pleased to see this design getting picked up. It's going to be a huge print and I am excited to see how it turns out. Remember folks, a vampire isn't just for halloween you can wear this one all year round. http://www.teextile.com/ for this week only.

4th @ Teextile - Hoot! Hoot!

Hoot! Hoot! is my 4th win at Teextile and one of my personal favourites. It's a more 'street' style doodle with elements of graffiti thrown in for good measure. Graffiti and street art have had a huge influence on my art from way back in the early days.

8th Teefury Tee - Parasites

This is my eighth print at http://www.teefury.com/ and it's called Parasites. I like doing tees for Teefury because you get honest, sometimes brutal critiques almost instantly. The people decide if it sells and that gives you enormous feedback and also an insite into what sells well as a Tee. Only $9 for today, 24.09.09.

Victory records and Four Letter Lie Promo Tee

I teamed up with Victory Records and the US band 'Four Letter Lie' to do this promotional tee to promote their new album. It was a great experience and I hope to work with more bands in the future. This offer is available HERE.

'My Own Personal Robot' @ Fair and Bare

'My Own Personal Robot' is my second print at Fairandbare.com and it was a pleasure working with Ian again. This company prints on fair trade cotton and really tries to make a difference to the world. I tip my hat to this company and wish them all the very best. Support em and get the tee!

We Are All Connected @ Allmightys.com

When Allmightys.com announced their 'connected' contest I thought I'd enter a doodley design. This time however I decided to go brighter, a lot of my designs are dark and gloomy. This was the end result. I was trying to convey that in some way we are all connected to one another. Want one? Here is where: get connected.

No.3 @ Teextile - Gloopy

Gloopy is a design I did whilst watching Advertisements in the U.S. These little critters just spilled onto the page from my mind. I personally like the hotdog and onion head. Teextile are always good to work with and growing all the time. Teextile

wotto @ Tilteed - Guilty PLeasures

This tee was printed by www.tilteed.com. I am really glad this site bagged this one. They are a new site but are doing everything very well and their prints are top notch. This design is another doodle. I was working with the idea of death and how if comes to us all. So why not enjoy a guilty pleasure or two before we depart?

wotto @ GoodJoe.com

Recycle Takeover has been selected by http://www.goodjoe.com/ as their shirt of the week. It is on preorder for just $10. $2 from each sale goes to charity. I like Goodjoe's approach and you know how I like to contribute to charities so it's a good match. This design is really about the constant cycle that the planet goes through and how important all kinds of recycling is. I'm not a tree hugger by any means but hopefully through design I can help do my little bit.

Aesthetic Decapitation @ Oye Apparel

I worked with the awesome Dennis Beatty over at Oye Apparel on this project. I like working with new companies, especially when they give you the freedom Oye did. This design came out great on the tee and I hop Oye continue to grow and grow. If you like it grab one here: oye.bigcartel.com/product/aesthetic-decapitation

The Printed Mind - Take a Swim

I did this for Levi’s line 'The Printed Mind' and he gave me creative freedom. It's always nice to work on a project where you have control. It is also refreshing not to be restrained by the usual colour restrictions. I am proud of this tee and how it came out. If you like it pick one up here: http://theprintedmind.bigcartel.com/product/take-a-swim

wotto @ Make Beats Not Beat Downs

Make Beats Not Beat Downs is a none profit organisation trying to stop bullying in schools through music. I designed and donated this tee for them to help raise awareness. It feels nice to be nice. It's supposed to be a bunch of reformed bullies, trying their hardest to get on and make beats not beat downs. Get the tee at www.makebeatsnotbeatdowns.org

Wotto @ Teefury No.7

So today (10th July) I am featured for the 7th time at www.teefury.com. I used to curate for them and it's awesome to be back just as an 'artist' and the response so far has been overwhelming. This will be my best seller on the site so far. The design is all about how shit we treat the earth and how well it bounces back, but for how long.....

Limited Edition Wotto Tee No.3 - Skullhead

I have been a busy busy boy lately and here is my third limited edition tee. Skullhead is a character I have been developing for a while and I wanted him to be the central focus of this tee. Again it's very limited edition and I promise not to print it on black again. Once they are gone they are gone. Available at my shop.

Doodlevision @ Ktoen.nl

Lucas over at Ktoen contacted me a while ago asking for a design and this is what we came up with. It was a great project and Lucas was very good in his direction. I am always excited to have my work in new countries and the Netherlands is an awesome place. You can pick this tee up at http://www.ktoen.nl/t-shirt.do

Limited Edition Wotto Tee No.2 - Birdman on 53

I am very proud to present my 2nd Limited Edition wotto Tee. I decided to go with a smaller print on this one because I am kind of sick of the all over print trend that's around right now. These tees are very limited edition and I wont be printing them on black ever again. Available here.

wotto @ Tee Invaders

This design was pain stakingly created using hundreds of symbols and signs. It has two themes, one being the rise of machines and technology and the other being our wasteful ways. Technology is developing at such speed it is scary. How many old mobile phones do you have? Everything is a throw away, easily replaced commodity. Imagine all those unwanted, unloved machines coming back to avenge our greedy ways. eep! Available HERE

Wotto @ Ript Apparel - Robot week

I am kicking off robot week over at Ript Apparel today. There are lots of T-shirt sites popping up at the moment but this is one I am really enjoying being part of. This design is all about the take over of robots. I predict 2056 as the time and I am hoping to still be around to see the battle unfold.

The Dark Side of Doodling @ Teextile

The Dark Side of Doodling was not originally that dark. It was originally blues and whites but after a colour shift this tee became much darker and more interesting. Sometimes all a design needs is a colour change to make it work. This is the kind of tee I like to make out of simply doodling. However, you must remember the canvas (in this case a tee) and consider composition like you would in any other art medium. Teextile is a fast growing site and I like the way they treat you as an artist. This is my second win with this site.

Wotto @ Righteous Enterprise

This design got a lot of attention over at www.righteousenterprise.com. They printed it huge and the colours are awesome. Just in time for summer. Available HERE.

Wotto @ RandR Tees No.2

The second of three designs printing at Rise and Resist Apparel. Want one? Well hop along to randr and get some of that Doodletastic tee madness. This is one of my all time favourites. I designed it over a year ago but it has always had a place in my little black heart and features some of my best character work, in my opinion.

wotto @ squishi.co.uk

Squishi approached me this year and I was both flattered and a excited. They are a small UK based company selling very limited edition tees by artists such as Drew Millward, one of my favourite illustrators at the moment. So yeah it's cool to be alongside someone's work I really admire. Also the tee look delicious on mint! I'm not even going to get into what this tee is about. Available at squishi.co.uk

RandR Print

One of three designs printing at Rise and Resist Apparel. This design started as a sketchbook doodle on a train if my memory serves me correctly. I think I may have been worried about thieves stealing my ipod or something. I used a pastel colour palette so it popped on the purple. Want one? Well skip along to http://www.randrtees.com/store/index.php/default/pickpocket.html

ABT Print No. 2

My shirt 'Life, Death & Doodle' printed today at A Better Tomorrow, those guys did an incredible job of the printing. I went through a phase of drawing very dark doodles using mainly black & white centred around the theme of 'death'. I'm not sure why, maybe a realisation that I am getting older. ABT is a German based company who have made me very welcome in their community. Grab one HERE

Teefury no. 6

My 6th print at teefury.com went on sale 27thMarch. This design was created when I was staring at a large print I have of Hundertwasser's work above my desk. I love the artists work and his use of colour is astounding. This is an ode to his work and pays homage to his eco friendly thoughts and ideas.

wotto@Full Metal T-shirts

Full Metal T-shirt is a relatively new company making huge strides in DTG printing (Direct to Garment). The quality of the print is excellent and the people over there have incredible customer service. This design centred around Luck and the main characters lack of it. There are 13 images that represent things considered unlucky. Can you spot them? Available HERE!

Thursday, March 12, 2009

Wrath @ Teextile.com

Teextile have joined the T-shirt arena and have made a good start. They printed my design as a T-shirt of the day and it was only available for a limited time. 'Wrath' was this pieces title and it reflected the mood I was in on the day I drew it. I limited the colour scheme and steered clear of the obvious red. Limitations for an artist can be a good thing. http://www.teextile.com/

Limited Edition Wotto Tee No.1 - Marvellous Marvin

Well I thought it was time to print my own tee, so here it is. The design came from my two loves, music and characters. Marvin is a big beastie who squeezes little creatures until they squeak. He can also play a mean trumpet! Finally I made my very own T-shirt. Printed on American Apparel and Limited 1st run. When they are gone they are gone. Also available on aqua.
Available at http://www.wotto.bigcartel.com/

Wotto @ Teefury No.5

My 5th print at Teefury. Being a curator over there it is always hard to put your own work up and not give other artists your place. This got moved 3 times before I finally decided to let it go up. The design is really about Technology and how it struggles with itself, in a less deep way it's about two robots fighting. Available for one day at http://www.teefury.com/

wotto @ mama feels good

Mama Feels Good is an incredibly innovative company catering for the needs of pregnant ladies and mums. They were recently featured in Vogue UK and I was pleased that this tee was part of that feature. The design is subtle, hopefully. On the exterior owls seem wise and cute but they are only wise because they know more than you and hunt at night! Eep. Available at http://www.mamafeelsgood.com/. For the cool preggers ladies & mamas.
