This design was originally a sub to DBH but Jimiyo picked it up for Teefury.com and it seems to be going down well there. It's a departure from my usual style and is a follow up to my design at Design By Humans. For sale for one day - 14.10.09
I did these two designs for Illus Apparel a while back and I just love how they came out. One is a Illus doodle tee with lots of characters and bright colours. The other is a wottoesque Totem pole design in grayscale. Excellent photography for the product shots really shows the designs off well.

Hoot! Hoot! is my 4th win at Teextile and one of my personal favourites. It's a more 'street' style doodle with elements of graffiti thrown in for good measure. Graffiti and street art have had a huge influence on my art from way back in the early days.

When Allmightys.com announced their 'connected' contest I thought I'd enter a doodley design. This time however I decided to go brighter, a lot of my designs are dark and gloomy. I did this for Levi’s line 'The Printed Mind' and he gave me creative freedom. It's always nice to work on a project where you have control. Make Beats Not Beat Downs is a none profit organisation trying to stop bullying in schools through music. I designed and donated this tee for them to help raise awareness. It feels nice to be nice. This design was pain stakingly created using hundreds of symbols and signs. It has two themes, one being the rise of machines and technology and the other being our wasteful ways. Technology is developing at such speed it is scary. How many old mobile phones do you have? Everything is a throw away, easily replaced commodity. I am kicking off robot week over at Ript Apparel today. There are lots of T-shirt sites popping up at the moment but this is one I am really enjoying being part of. This design is all about the take over of robots. I predict 2056 as the time and I am hoping to still be around to see the battle unfold.
The Dark Side of Doodling was not originally that dark. It was originally blues and whites but after a colour shift this tee became much darker and more interesting. Sometimes all a design needs is a colour change to make it work. This is the kind of tee I like to make out of simply doodling. However, you must remember the canvas (in this case a tee) and consider composition like you would in any other art medium. Teextile is a fast growing site and I like the way they treat you as an artist. This is my second win with this site.

My shirt 'Life, Death & Doodle' printed today at A Better Tomorrow, those guys did an incredible job of the printing. I went through a phase of drawing very dark doodles using mainly black & white centred around the theme of 'death'. I'm not sure why, maybe a realisation that I am getting older. My 6th print at teefury.com went on sale 27thMarch. This design was created when I was staring at a large print I have of Hundertwasser's work above my desk. I love the artists work and his use of colour is astounding. This is an ode to his work and pays homage to his eco friendly thoughts and ideas.
Full Metal T-shirt is a relatively new company making huge strides in DTG printing (Direct to Garment). The quality of the print is excellent and the people over there have incredible customer service. This design centred around Luck and the main characters lack of it. Teextile have joined the T-shirt arena and have made a good start. They printed my design as a T-shirt of the day and it was only available for a limited time. 'Wrath' was this pieces title and it reflected the mood I was in on the day I drew it. I limited the colour scheme and steered clear of the obvious red. Well I thought it was time to print my own tee, so here it is. The design came from my two loves, music and characters. Marvin is a big beastie who squeezes little creatures until they squeak. My 5th print at Teefury. Being a curator over there it is always hard to put your own work up and not give other artists your place. This got moved 3 times before I finally decided to let it go up. Mama Feels Good is an incredibly innovative company catering for the needs of pregnant ladies and mums. They were recently featured in Vogue UK and I was pleased that this tee was part of that feature. The design is subtle, hopefully.
